This means the database is not in your SD card or your SD card is defective. There are 2 solutions for this error message:
Solution 1: Your current SD card is most likely defective.
- Take out the SD card
- Replace with your back up SD card. You can download the database to your backup SD card or use the old database on your backup SD card.
- Insert the backup SD card and try to scan again.
We highly recommend you always have Multiple SD Cards with you. That will save you if your current SD card suddenly becomes defective. Please take a look here.
Solution 2: (If you do not have a backup card, but again we strongly recommend you always have at least one backup SD card with you)
- Complete a successful database download to this SD card.
- Soft Reset PDA.
- Try scanning again and hope it will work. If an SD card gives you this error message once, then we think this SD card may have a potential problem, and you should consider using another SD card asap.
