Error: Cannot create a shipment and add items

Amazon requires the seller to create a shipment within 48 hours after the item is assigned to a fulfillment center. After 48 hours, you can no longer create a new shipment to that fulfillment center. You can only add items to an existing shipment to that fulfillment center.

Private Batch

In *Ship” screen, click “Reassign All” button. This will ask Amazon to reassign your items to a different fulfillment center and your shipment plans for your items are updated. Then you can try to create a new shipment.

Live Batch

There are two solutions for the live batch.

Solution 1: If you still want to keep the same fulfillment center an item is assigned to, try to add a test item with multiple quantities. If Amazon assigns this item to the same fulfillment center, then you can create a new shipment to this FC with all of your items going to the same FC. After the shipment is created, you can remove the extra quantities of the test item going to this shipment on Amazon Seller Central. Then remove the remaining quantities of this item from TurboLister.

Solution 2: Click the “Reassign All” button to ask Amazon to reassign your items to different fulfillment centers. This will convert your live batch into a private batch. Some or all of your items will change fulfillment centers, so you need to do box content to make sure they go to the correct fulfillment center
