The program will start by comparing the selected offer price and the item’s sales rank, shown in Figure 7 at Configure Basic Trigger.

When an item is scanned, the program will select an offer price based, in this order, on whether to ignore FBA Offers, to target non-Prime members, and which offer price to use. Once it selects the offer price, it will also collect the item’s sales rank.

The program will start by comparing the selected offer price and the item’s sales rank against the content in the first row of the price/sales rank table, shown in Figure 7 at Configure Basic Trigger.. It will check if the offer price is greater than or equal to the Minimum Offer Price. It will also check the sales rank if it is less than or equal to the Max Sales Rank.

If the comparison is successful for this current row, the program will return with the ‘Buy’ message and sound to indicate that this item is a ‘Buy’.

If the check is not successful, the program will move down to the next row, and run the same check. The program will repeat this process until a row gives a buy signal, or until it goes through all the rows in the table. The program will return with a ‘Reject’ when no rows give a ‘buy’ indication.
