This means the database is not on your SD card or your SD card is defective. There are 2 solutions for this error message:
Solution 1: Your current SD card is most likely defective.
- Take out the SD card
- Replace with your back up SD card. You can download the database to your backup SD card or use the old database on your backup SD card.
- Insert the backup SD card and try to scan again.
We highly recommend you always have Multiple SD Cards with you. That will save you if your current SD card suddenly becomes defective. Please take a look here.
Solution 2: (If you do not have a backup card, we strongly recommend you always have at least one backup SD card)
- Complete a successful database download to this SD card.
- Soft Reset PDA.
- Try scanning again. If the SD card gives you this error message again, then this SD card could potentially be defective and you should consider using another SD card.
